Oneway Web Design is a Melbourne-based web design business run by Keaton Dunn. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect through this website
When you send an enquiry, the form asks for:
- your name and business name
- your email address and phone number
- the package you are interested in
- your message
We also receive anything you choose to send us by email or phone.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, quote for your project and deliver the work you ask for. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Where it is stored
This site is hosted by Netlify. Enquiry form submissions are stored by Netlify and sent to us by email. Like any web host, Netlify processes basic request details such as your IP address and browser type to serve and secure the site.
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Google user data and our keyword research tool
Oneway runs an internal keyword research tool for the websites we build and manage. With the site owner's permission, it connects to Google APIs to read:
- Google Search Console: the search queries, clicks, impressions and positions for those websites
- Google Ads (Keyword Planner): keyword ideas and search volume estimates
The tool only reads this data. It does not change Search Console settings or create, edit or run ads.
We use this data only to research keywords and improve the websites we work on. Keyword lists and search figures may be processed by Anthropic's Claude API to group and analyse keywords. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We share it only with the business whose website it relates to, or where the law requires it.
Oneway's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
A site owner can withdraw access at any time by removing our account under Users and permissions in Search Console, or under Access and security in Google Ads.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details and project data for as long as we are working with you, and delete them when you ask us to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email hello@onewaywebdesign.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
